A couple weeks ago I got a custom set of tubular rims (custom sticker colors plus green Chris King hubs) from our sponsor Corsa Concepts (with special edition Molly Cameron FMB tires mounted by Molly's Veloshop).
I got to race on them twice in a single weekend, doing the EZ Orchards race in Salem as well as the Cross Crusade in Hillsboro. They are my first set of tubulars and going from tubeless tires to tubular has definitely been an upgrade. They worked great on the flat and fast course in Salem, but in HIllsboro they really had a chance to shine. I ran them with the lowest tire pressure I could stand (below 30PSI and I am a clydesdale) and after 45 minutes on a sticky muddy course, my front wheel never slid out once while people toppled and crashed and hit the deck all around me on virtually every lap. They worked great and I look forward to a full muddy season with a trusty wheelset beneath my bike.
